Ocean marina is a great place to stay, nestled in a new complex a short walk from the airport.
I think its location is explained quite well by this aerial shot (zoom to see purple arrow).

We are staying on Sunborn Yacht which is a 5 star hotel permanently moored in the marina. When space is at a premium, looking down from the upper rock most building works are creating tower blocks of one shape or another. It’s not hard to imagine why a permanently moored yacht was a shrewd move.

This is the Junior suite we stayed in without a balcony. In my opinion, the better option unless you plan to sit on the balcony for lengthy periods of time.

I’d recommend anyone staying on the yacht it is lovely and the breakfast was very good, offering a wide range of cereals, continental options (inc smoked salmon), toast, fruit and pastries. To wash it all down an unlimited amount of fruit juice, tea, coffee or cava. Served on the upper deck, you can immerse yourself in wonderful views while you eat.
